  • Hallmark ecard app

Mostly I like this app. I did sign up for ecards for a year. I like that you can choose when the card is sent, they notify you that it has been sent and when it has been opened. There is a decent selection of cards, but I don’t understand why there are other holiday cards mixed in with the Christmas cards. The only thing I don’t like is that you can list all of your email addresses on the contact page, but the card doesn’t access that page when you need to enter the address to send the card. I still have to go to my contacts in my address book and enter the entire address on the address line. The contacts page is a waste of space.

I received an alert for Veterans Day, so I go into the app and they have NO cards available.
  • Should be better for the name HALLMARK

They have some nice cards but the report on who opens their card doesn’t work much. Has bugs that need to be fixed, still. I have been using them for several years because I haven’t found a better app for eCards.

This app is a waste of money. When sending it keeps sending for long periods of time, hours, and often never gets there. The only way to tell if a card is received is to get a response from recipients or ask them. Most time it is not received.😡
  • Cannot sign on!

It is not connected to webpage. Wants you to accept ad tracking. Very poor app! Very disappointed in Hallmark!
  • Not bad. Good.

No free cards here. No connection to membership in the Hallmark card store or ornament club. Also, the web site offers a 2 year discount plan not listed in this app. But the app display is easy, the card selections are adequate or even nice, there is a modest group of typefaces, the Hallmark name reflects strength and thought, the unlimited cards feature is inviting, and most importantly the whole package makes it likely I’ll use it. My wife likes to send e-cards. Now I’ll flood her with some. I can share the subscription with my family so she’ll certainly card me back. Ah nuts.

You can't even send ONE card without paying, forget about unlimited! Yet they let you go through the whole process of choosing and making a card before that little detail becomes clear
  • Good App

Need to be able to include links in the body of the message.

In terms of concept Hallmark e-cards is a great application. It sets itself apart from other stationary applications with the ability to send e-cards from various pop culture brands or with unique messages and effects. The app goes even further giving you the chance to customize the primary and background colors as well as the text. E-cards that can be chosen range from music playing in the background to photorealistic characters moving around in sync with the card's message. The app does a good job of making it easy to browse card categories by a listing of occasions and a gallery one could go through quickly. The app also allows users to save cards to keep in mind. The process of sending a card is easy with a simple type of the recipient's e-mail address or just selecting from your address book if you choose to import them into the app after you are done customizing and writing your message. The app also has a great support category with the ability to read answers to questions you may have or contact support directly. I do have some minor quibbles with the app and that is mainly the pricing structure or how it can be interpreted. The app presents two options. One is for $1.50 a month and another is for 4.50 a month for a year. I am not sure the app allows users to pay separately for a e-card without having to modify not being charged on a regular basis. This seems unclear to me. This particular problem is more subjective but I would like the ability to shop from all of Hallmark's card collection from the app. Or at the least make select e-cards available to be customized in physical form. I think some of the selections are that good and unique to where you would want to send it to someone who does not had a computer and would want them to showcase it. It only makes sense for Hallmark to make a great e-card application but with a few tweaks I think this could become the best stationary application.
