  • Solid app

This is a simple and effective app. I don't use all of the features it offers, but I do use it to sleep apps on my boys' phones in the evening. They are just constantly interrupted during homework by all their friends on social media. Now I just turn them all off no questions asked. My boys weren't thrilled at first, but now they are cool with it. They still have plenty of access during the day. Setting limits on app usage is key for kids during homework and also to make sure they get enough sleep.
  • Kid friendly!

The 1 star reviews are clearly written by kids, not parents! As a parent I like this product better than others I've tried because it's the most kid-friendly and family-friendly. It does NOT have a spyware mode which my kids appreciate. Any hope of keeping kids safe on line has to be based in trust!
  • Game changer

I'm not sure what the one star reviews are referring to. I have young kids who are NOT looking for mature content but they have stumbled across it while on YouTube. Stuff you can't unsee. Being able to lock in Restricted Mode has brought us peace. I don't hover anymore - which makes everyone happier!!!
  • Love this app

The app sleeper has changed our household. Apps are automatically off from dinner time until morning. Kids get their homework done and get to bed without all the app and social media distractions. We love it.
  • Game changer for our family

I installed Forcefield on my child's device about a month ago, and it has completely changed the dynamic in our household. My son went from spending probably six hours a day on screens to one hour a day on screens doing non-school activities. Although we had some tension at the beginning, he has come around to liking force field, and even told me recently that he understands that we use Forcefield because we love him!!! He's a 14-year-old boy! This has changed how he spends his free time -- all for the better. And I don't feel like I'm spying on him. He does however understand that his two Apple devices are privileges--subject to his parents' supervision which we think is entirely appropriate. We are grateful to have Forcefield

  • Phone usage

This app has allowed my daughter to begin to learn how to self regulate her phone use during school/homework time. She will often recognize her inability to focus on school/homework because of her phone. Apple does not allow any parental regulations. There are some things that I would change about this app. The lag time between sleep/wake as well as setting multiple sleep times during the day. I also would like to see the apps return to their previous locations (this is an issue for my daughter). Overall this app has worked well for us, teaching my daughter that the phone can not be a priority when school/homework suffer because of it.
