  • Deceitful and Fraudulent

Omg where do I begin!! First off been playing this game for over 2 years. I always knew it was designed just for the dev to make some money but I mean it got really out of line today. So I go and buy a $9.99 crystal pack and go to buy their Ahsoka Tano Fulcrum shard pack....card just spins and spins and then app quits. I relaunch. Have received no character shards but my crystals are gone. Whatever-try it a second time. Same exact thing happens. BUT! Where I drew the line was when I contacted EA support and they proceeded to intimidate and threaten ME (after I've spent already hundreds on that game) saying that due to the complexity of the issue if I proceed and they can't figure out their own apps issues they'd shut down my account. Well after that I was like screw you go ahead! But when I went to go update my help ticket they had already closed my case. This is a total scam I'm done with this app and frankly EA I'm SOOOOOO done with you

The ethics of gaming is over. EA has designed this game to favor competition around money rather than soley by gameplay. EA is exploiting gamers, mobile users and lovers of the Star Wars franchise. They created an environment that condones hardcore and casual gamers to stay in the app constantly to incurr mobile charges. In order to get and stay in the top of your arena board, you must make purchases to farm high end mods. Rewards and drops are horrible and will keep you grinding and playing more than you should. It will trap the addictive gamer. The developers built a nice app which has been ruined by the greed of mobile gaming industry executives. If you are a hardcore gamer, look elsewhere before you get trapped in this brain washing experiment.

  • What money???

$ is supposed to be necessary but that's just not true, I am near level 70 and I've never spent a single penny. This is a wonderful game and recommend it.
  • Addicting for a StarWars fan

It's a fun game but as you play more your gonna wanna spend some cash on certain toons. A wide range of things to do but I just like collecting toons. Reminds me of collecting figures in my Vader case back in the day.
  • Best mobile Star Wars game!

This game is great, little to no flaws. The flaws I do have maybe can't be fixed or maybe are being worked on or maybe I'm just not smart. But, I have to say these things. First off, Luke Skywalker is advertised with a lightsaber, but he doesn't have one. He even has one when you face him in the story. Whether he's in his Bespin uniform or his Return of the Jedi outfit, I would like to have a lightsaber wielding Luke. Secondly, PVP needs to be more balanced. This is one that may be hard to fix, that is if it can be fixed at all. Here I am, with my team not even at 20,000 power, and I'm facing opponents above 20,000. Sure the solution may be to get stronger, but my point is that my opponents are at a higher power than me. Thus when my opponents are always stronger, how do I climb higher in ranks? Lastly, game crashes. Yes, the game crashes. However, not a lot. This game lags at worst, and rarely crashes. Not at all does it crash as often and bad as DC Legends. So the crashing isn't bad and I don't get too annoyed with it, but if it can be fixed then it would be great. So yeah, this is my review. The most important part is GIVE LUKE SKYWALKER A LIGHTSABER! BESPIN, RETURN OF THE JEDI, OR BOTH! GIVE US LUKE WITH A LIGHTSABER!

  • The game basically cheats

It's a pretty fun game. But after a while your character abilities plateau, and you cannot possibly use any amount of strategy or tactics to defeat the opponents you are presented. This puts you in the position that you must either buy a ton of power ups, or play every waking moment to get all the available power ups in the game. I get it, software companies need to employ people. Revenue is key. However the game suffers due to this funneling towards in app purchases. I'd also ding this game for the decline in the quality of characters. The 'phoenix squadron' are corny cartoonish dreck. Like they were designed by middle schoolers. Compared to the other characters in the game they really stick out in terms of appearance. But you are kinf of forced to play them when various 'special event campaigns' roll around. Would not be so bad if they had made an effort to fit them in with the rest of the Star Wars universe in terms of looks, but like a lot of Clone Wars originating stuff, there really isn't much you could do to fix the poor character design. On the plus side you get a variety of gameplay. There are fleet battles and turn based combat. As well as multiple ways that you can engage in turn based combat. Either clearing levels or specific bonus round type of battles which pay off with power ups, credits, crystals etc. The game is largely focussed on collecting stuff to unlock powers. And you have to collect a lot. It's fun until, as mentioned, your guys plateau and there is nothing you can do to advance aside from pay up.
