  • Does not lockout my kids!

Both my boys figured out on their own how to disable the app. from their phones through settings! What is the point of paying for this app. If my 13year old can figure out how to disable?....
  • Greatest App

    By LisaLisa9768
Greatest App for parental controls. Now I just wish there was an app to monitor Snapchat (WORST app ever for teenagers)
  • Very useful app for monitoring and restricting access!

Highly recommended and now with start and end date report by device set to Child mode!
  • No response necessary; just copy pasting my Google Play review here 😏

This is the first and only app I have found with the functionality and versatility that I need to manage all the different devices my kids have access to. I'd love to 5 star this app, but it does need a few adjustments. First, there needs to be a way to lock kids out of IOS settings, like there is in the android devices so they can't disable VPN. (I know Apple makes this difficult.) Second, the pass code feature is a bit weak. A four digit code or pattern lock is ok- for a while- but eventually any kid paying attention will sneak a peak at your PW and bypass the whole setup. Some other apps have PW options that make them harder to guess or determine by prying eyes. Longer PW options especially ones that can combine alpha numeric & special characters in conjunction with a randomized keypad would be optimal imo. I use a similar set up on another app with great results. Third, another security feature that would be great is the ability to hide this app altogether perhaps with a decoy cover or online only access. If the kids don't even know it's on the device or where to look for it, it would be that much harder for them manipulate. Also there should be a security feature to keep it from being deleted without a password. Fourth, I'd love to see a locker or vault option to hide gallery pics & vids. Lastly, I love that each device can be controlled separately & that each kids device has it's own profile. It's extremely easy to navigate for parents. The only improvement I'd make here is a usage tracker & reward system, with the option for kids to remotely request extra time. Right now I'm utilising 3 different apps including this one in tandem with the security features which come stock in each device to give me the control I desire ( none of which cover Apple's annoying aversion to parental control of certain settings like VPN ) I'd love to be able to ditch the extra apps and the steps to using them and just use one app that offers the features I listed above. Great start with this app tho guys; I can't find any other options in Google Play or the App Store which have gotten as far especially where IOS is concerned. I am curious how the other options you have for Windows, Amazon & others work tho. Are those options only for remotely managing other devices or can they be used to manage these systems as well? Also, which features are limited once the free trial ends? This is not clear in your app description. ( I'll probably have answered these questions myself before you respond lol, but perhaps for anyone else reading this review it will be helpful😉) Keep up the good work! (PS : The price of subscription is totally worth it, in fact the look on my kids faces when I remotely shut down their devices was utterly priceless!!! I don't think I've ever been called the Devil more times in one day 😇😂😂😂)
  • Piece of garbage!!!

This app has more bugs and flaws then any app I have ever seen!!! Every time they have an update, well hell you can assume so many things are going to start to go wrong!!!! The idea of the app is good but, but I don't think any of them know how to properly design an app. If you get this..... All I have to say is GOOD LUCK, and hope you didn't need to do anything better with your money!! If I could give then negative stars, believe me I would 😫😫😫😫😫 So this is an update to the above review. The sent a response to my review that said they disagree, which is completely understandable, but they also said contact their help center and they would fix the problem, well before any of the reviews, I did, and after going back and forth with numerous messages, they told me that I should just sit tight and MAYBE the next update will fix their VPN problems, but until then pretty much keep paying for a product that doesn't work......... As crazy as this sounds, I have the messages to prove such horrible help desk solutions!!! This is an update to my previous rating.....PLEASE PLEASE don't waste your time and money on this piece of garbage app!!! It always freezes, stops apps from working, and locks up the machine. I have wasted more time uninstalling and reinstalling this app then I can count. Do yourself a favor and move on to something else to help control your devices. The only reason the kids don't spend as much time with this app then we without it is because you have to keep taking them away to fix a problem!!!!

App has been doing very well. Until this last update. It would have been great to be able to control individual apps but I never got that option on my iPhone like the company states I should have.
  • Meh...

  • Good but needs work

    By Jollygestgiant
When this works it’s easy and straightforward. However it has crashed my daughters iPod touch two times. It interferes with her Wi-Fi connectivity. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I’m trying the new version 3.5 and hoping this resolves the issue. On my sons Samsung tablet it also randomly uninstalled itself and I had to reinstall it one time. Not sure what happened there but hoping new version will fix. Fingers crossed.
  • Do not get‼️

  • Good start and shows promise

I’ve been using the app now for the 14 day trial and decided to subscribe. I’ve been a Qustodio user and gave another iOS app a try, Screen Time. They just were not meeting my expectations for iOS management. What is winning for me is the user interface on my phone. It’s easy to manage the accounts and changes are a breeze. From my review, there are some things missing, like the ability to schedule texting access, but this cannot be an easy feat to overcome with Apple. Qustodio does this, but there are compromises. I can parent around this for now. Kidslox is in active development which means they are working on and delivering new features. So, if something is missing, suggest it directly to them. I work with development teams, and we LOVE to get nice, thoughtful feedback so we know what to build! Whining and complaining about an app just makes you look like a dunce and motivates no one to work on your features. Keep up the good work and I look forward to new releases!
