  • Good but...

    By Puppiesandgames
I have gotten this game weirdly as a school project. We need to build a city based on some models that we learned. This app works great for that but I only have two weeks and the only way you can level up is by building residential areas. I don’t need more residential areas I need to be able to put some of the required buildings in but I can’t do that without leveling up. Please make another way to level up it is extremely slow this way and I know there are other people not doing the project that find this really annoying as well.
  • Great 😁

    By Mememe111234
This is a great game. My kids are obsessed with it and they got me into it to.
  • Be ready to spend money

The game may be free, but their algorithm won’t let you play after a certain amount of time without spending money. There are items you need to drop in order to expand and keep building that just mysteriously stop dropping after you hit a certain population. And the only way to get those items after that? You got it—you have to pay for them. I’ve quit playing because of it.
  • Asking why do I play

    By Dyebagg
Started playing this game and it was fun at first. Then kept asking myself why am I playing this game. Well you guys answered that for me. I was watching one of the many advertisements and the whole game went blank and has been blank ever sense. So now I guess I can finally quit playing, so thank you
  • Good but needs a new update below

    By 😡😕😒
Great but the developer should make it so you only really need one fire station or anything that covers limited room in the game because it’s super annoying But it’s a great game good graphics
  • I give it hate

    By Cool Frozen Peas
I hate this game it get so boring after awhile but u r hearing from a 12 year old so I dunno bout u. I advise u not to get this game due to all the updates u gotta do and it just shuts my whole iPad down a lot
  • Fun to start but ...

Global trade ruins it. I would rather jam splinters under my fingernails than use global trade to find items, however there is no other option to find items to grow and expand. Buildit is everything you have come to expect from EA. Mediocre gameplay matched with abysmal progression mechanics. This game is best avoided.
  • STOP normalizing and glorifying war

    By mayors for peace
I love this game so much, it's been hard to watch the developers introduce new parts of the game in recent updates in which clubs of cities wage war on others in a really senseless normalization of war. ICYMI, the world has been engaged in horrific warfare for the better part of a century, so I think the folks that play this game probably get enough carnage IRL. What kind of relationship does EA have with militaries/weapons manufacturers?
  • What is "innovative" about it?

    By SamSBD
Its just pay to play or wait to click mindless garbage. Even with how awful the last Sim city game was, this does not deserve the Sim city name. “Sim” stands for “simulated”. What exactly is simulated here? Sure it’s pretty but it is not a city builder.
  • Version 1.21.2 needs work

    By Dbuger
Update: The game was great before this update. The latest update to version 1.21.2 gimped the game. Going to any screen (war, trade hq, depot) takes time to load where previously it was almost instant. Hardware resources also seem to be much higher now as my phone gets hot and I’m playing this on an iPhone X. If you can help it, don’t update! Update 2: I keep adding a star since my initial review because the game is running better and better. There weren’t any app updates but the game is way smoother now so I suspect work on the backend.
