*** APPLE DESIGN AWARD WINNER 2017 *** Meet the all-new Things! A complete rethinking of the original, award-winning task manager – with a perfect balance between simplicity and power, incredible new features, delightful interactions, and a timeless new design. HERE'S HOW THINGS WORKS If you're new to Things, this is the basic workflow: 1. Collect Your Thoughts Get things off your mind quickly with Things’ action extension – it lets you create to-dos from other apps. Or just talk to Siri on any device (“Remind me to...”) and import from Reminders. 2. Get Organized Create a project for each of your goals, then add the steps to reach them. For clarity, add structure with headings. Then group your projects by areas of responsibility, such as “Family”, “Work”, or “Health”. Review these regularly to stay on top of things. 3. Plan Your Time See your calendar events alongside your to-dos and plan your time effectively. Create repeating to-dos for things you do every few days, weeks, or months – Things will remind you on the right day. 4. Make the Most of Your Day Every morning, grab a coffee and prepare your list for “Today”: review previously planned to-dos and make quick decisions on what to tackle. Pick some more steps from your projects and then get going. The Today list is the only place you’ll need to look for the rest of the day. 5. Customize Your Workflow Use tags to categorize your to-dos or add context. For example, tag places like “Office” or “Home”, or tag all your “Errands”, or everything you’re working on with “Kate”. You can easily find everything you’ve tagged via filtering or search. HERE'S WHY WE THINK YOU'LL LOVE THINGS 1. It stays out of your way. As you start using Things, you’ll quickly notice how seamlessly all the features fit together to give you an uncluttered, focused experience. There are no unnecessary frills. No pointless gimmicks or useless controls. In fact, you’ll hardly notice the app – it’s just you and your to-dos. 2. Everything revolves around your to-dos. In Things, each of your to-dos are special. In a list, they simply show a checkbox and the title of your to-do. But when you open them, they extend into a beautiful white piece of paper that’s ready to hold your thoughts. Additional details (checklists, tags, reminders, deadline) are nicely tucked away in the corner until you need them. 3. It’s got a touch of magic. Things removes friction in magical ways. Take the new Magic Plus Button that lets you insert to-dos at any place in a list – simply via drag and drop. Or the ease at which you can multi-select and operate on many to-dos at once. Or the natural language date parser: just type “tomorrow”, “in 4 days", or “next Wednesday", and it will jump to all the right conclusions. 4. It’s got all the power of iOS. Things is fully integrated with all the latest iOS technologies: Apple Watch, Calendars, Siri & Reminders, Today Widget, Quick Actions, Action Extension, Handoff, and Notifications. 5. And much more... Everyone's got their favorite feature, it's impossible to list them all. See what our users love about Things – visit our website at: WHAT’S NEW? • Seldom syncs with Apple Watch

    By Bret S
Not reliable enough to use everyday when paired with the Apple Watch. On most days my items don’t show up, and the app on the watch just shows “All Done” There is a diagnostic section where you can “reset sync”. But you should not have to do this. My other apps sync with the watch just fine.
  • Doesn't actually put recurring events in???

    By Roxie Car
I got this app to set up recurring reminders for things I need to do around the house but I don't necessarily want to put on my calendar: gym, vacuum, clean the bathroom, etc. However, after paying $10 to even open the app, I find out the app is 100% useless for that! I put "gym" and set it up as a daily recurring event - sounds great, except it won't actually input gym on each day when I sent it up as recurring. It puts it on the first day you choose, then once that day is over, it adds it to the next day. If I click on the task it says "recurs again tomorrow," but that doesn't help me plan ahead at a glance. Completely useless and a waste of $10.
  • Locks Up Every Time

    By JS1980
The app keeps locking up and showing the loading animation every time I use it. I’ve used Things for years, but can’t live with the bugs anymore.
  • 😍 Only 1 Thing Missing

    By nrohrer
I am smitten with this app. I used to get by with a paper planner, then switched to Todoist last year, but I hated that there was really no way to see upcoming tasks beyond a week. Things has solved that problem for me (and then some!) — no more worrying about an annual subscription, waaaay better integration with Apple Watch and my calendar (thank goodness), and a simpler, cleaner interface that allows me to organize everything from daily tasks to vacation ideas and workout plans. The price seemed a little steep at first, especially since it wasn’t easy to try out the app before I bought it, but it was worth every penny. Now, the only thing I’m missing is a way to track daily habits. I end up with a ton of to dos every day, which is a pain, because I just want a separate part of the platform that allows me to track that stuff. I’ve tried Streaks but would really like to have all these features in one place.
  • There is competition: check out the app”sorted3”

    By alexniiii
    - Need daily timeline feature. (Hourly planning) - Need dark mode. - Please refer to the new up and coming app sorted 3. I’ve been starting to use sorted 3 more on my phone mainly because of the daily timeline feature. Their Mac version is not out yet so I’m not fully migrating to their system. I still think the design on things 3 is cleaner and more pleasant to use. But the features on sorted 3 are so useful. Please consider adding these features.
  • Sync issues with watch

    By Tofupunch
I really like this app. I bought the iPhone app and am giving the Mac version a try with the trial. But the main issue I notice with both versions is their inconsistency with syncing across devices. I'll keep this review to just the phone and watch. Sometime items I have already cleared on the phone still show on the watch. It won't update. I will close the app on the watch and reopen it and still nothing. Sometimes it works great, other times it won't sync. This presents a breakdown in the efficiency of the app. Please fix this! And please sync with iCloud!!!!!
  • Very Nice App, but.....

    By IamJoeyA
I spent the 10.00 to purchase this app for my iPhone and Apple Watch thinking it was a Universal app as well for the iPad to I could add things while using my iPad. I was SEVERELY Disappointed that I would have to spend another 20.00 to us it on my iPad as well. I could see that price tag for purchasing on a Mac but not for iOS devices when many apps are already universal for iPhone and iPad for one price tag. So now I’m stuck with an app that I will just have to dig out my phone to use because I wont spend ANOTHER 20 bucks just to use it on my iPad. I believe this was a bad play by the developers to drain its customers of cash. That said, its still a wonderful app regardless. Just not worth the total price tag.
  • Crashes a LOT

    By Naji S.
So I redownloaded this app but everytime I press “today” for a to-do it crashes and it’s so annoying ugh🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

    By Über.geek
Be warned that, unlike most any app you buy in 2018, this application is NOT universal, meaning that you will have to pay another twenty bucks for the iPad version. Sure, you can run the iPhone version on an iPad, all distorted, but after spending ten bucks on this app (which I’m willing to do, for a well-made app), to find out you have to pay twice as much again to get a version with a different interface (it’s all the same code underneath, it’s just a different interface) is a slap in the face.
  • In my 80’s Best I’ve Ever Seen

    By NanMann
I have very little money I can spend now that I’m retired; took a chance that this would help me with my organizing. BEST MONEY I’ve ever spent. Each time I use it I learn something new and each time it shows me it is put on my lists EASIER than I had been trying to get it accomplished. This #3 thinks better than I do; it’s really helping me accomplish my chores and is so easy to use and rearrange...and I’m always rearranging my priorities. This is a no brainer.... I’m so happy and lucky that I purchased’s really worth the money. Thank you to those who thought this up, it is an amazing help.
