Description

Equalist. Not Elitist. See our mission statement at bit.ly/leaguemission So you want to date someone that shares your same education level AND ambition/drive? And maybe, just maybe, you'd like them to be in your same neighborhood, attractive enough to at LEAST look good in a black-and-white photo, with a height that meets your way-too-restrictive height preferences. Perhaps you also want them to share your religion as well. While your mother may call you picky, we call you self-aware. It's about to be happy hour, so go get 'em. #singleisin #neversettle League users now have the option of becoming a member by purchasing a yearly subscription for $199/year (equivalent to $15/month). This membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects and invites to exclusive events, and is auto-renewing until cancelled by user via iTunes (or settings). Users who wish to cancel their subscription must do so at least 24-hours before the end of the current period . Great app to network with ppl/meet new ppl
  • Beyond painful waiting list

I understand that you're a new set up, and I understand that there are necessary screening requirements, but the wait list/length is excessive, and beyond slow. I've waited a couple of months and I'm still no closer. Peacing on out - the wait is just not worth it. ✌🏻

Very legit dating app. No creeps or weirdos. Meant for dating not hook up

Can't give it 5 stars yet, no in-person dates, but the substance behind the candidates feel real.
  • Overrated and full of Flakes

This is the same old stuff repackaged to make money. There's little elite about the folks, at least not in DC. I met zero people actually interested in meeting up. No one replies to chats. Standard stuff on apps, but with less matches, this app is not worth my time. Or anyone's imo.
  • Can't even use the app until you pay $15 a month

This app is ridiculous. When you sign up, you are out into a queue of thousands of people waiting to get your profile "reviewed by their algorithm". But really it's just a way to force you to pay their subscription fee so that you can skip the line. I can't give this app anymore than one star because I can't even use it until they let me in. It's the digital equivalent of waiting in line outside a bar and the only way to get in is to bribe the bouncer. Sure it's supposed to seem exclusive. But only to those who pay their way through
  • The most boring dating app ever ... snooze.

This app is horrible conceptually. When it feels like you're just trying to make money off of ppl that are trying to do something different with their lives ... it's a fail. I understand in app purchases, but only when it's worth it. You don't get enough out of the app initially in order to understand it as a product or get excited enough to want to purchase ANYTHING let alone a $200 subscription that still has tons of restrictions. Feels like a scam for sure. I was excited ... stayed on the wait list ... for nothing. If I could give lower than one star, I would. I suggest doing user research to find what's best for the user. You know ... the target audience should always come first. I'll pay for good digital life tools ... this isn't one of them.

Wish I could give zero stars. Terrible app, no feedback loop, truly horrible marketing, pretentious af... honestly I feel worse about myself just being associated with this try-hard company

Abhorrently overpriced and ineffective. I'm moderately attractive (after about 20 minutes on Tinder, which they down, I've gotten 46 matches) and have yet to get a single match on this app. I thought it was the selective nature, not a big deal. A few times, I thought I got the same guy repeated. Today however I've gotten the same person in the same batch with two different profiles. It's more about the events they plan and you pay for than anything. Waste of time and cash.

The $175 membership gets you only a few extra matches a day. The "stats" that they claim to provide are meaningless and are static. If you let a match expire, they charges you $12.60 to reconnect and there is no assurance that the person you are reconnecting with is active, or dating someone, or interested in reconnecting. They give you 3 "matches" per day, 5 if you pay the $175. However, there is limited criteria to create a match other than education, height, and age. So typically the matches are just three random people that they throw at you.
