** App Store's Editor's Choice ** *From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.* As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures. Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky! ** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. ** Features: - 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase. - Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way. - Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition). - 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way! - Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

  • My kid loves it but I'm not sure he's really learning anything

My kid likes this game a lot. But I'd like there to be a setting to require words to be spelled in order. He already know his letters so he's just dragging them onto the model word in whatever order he pleases. He can't possibly be learning anything useful about spelling or reading. This feature seems so essential that I'd gladly pay extra for it -- although honestly, I can't believe it's not the default.
  • Great app

My son love this app. I highly recommend this app. I should’ve download this app last year when my son 2 years old.
  • Genius

After letting my daughter play with this for over a year, I suddenly realized how well she knew the sounds that the letters make. Her preK teachers confirm she is close to reading! Thank you ER!!
  • Great app

The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that the words should light up or be highlighted as they're read in a sentence and it would be helpful if they repeated how the word was spelled after the letters are dragged in place. Other than that this app is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend it. My 2 year old loves it!
  • Great for all ages!

This app is awesome! My child has been using this app since she was one and could pick the words she learned at that time. She is now three and is already reading at a first grade level. She’s learned to sound words out also so even spelling in front of her no longer works because she will figure it out.
  • Love the game, not the dishonest pricing!

This game is great for my almost 3 year old. I decided to upgrade and get all the word packs for $14.99. I decided that it’s a little pricey, but totally worth it. I didn’t realize that the price advertised in the game wasn’t correct. I was charged $29.99. That is beyond unacceptable!
  • Love this App!

My daughter started using this app a couple months ago. She’s only 18 MONTHS!! She’s spelling words and repeating sounds! I recommend this to EVERYONE with a toddler!
  • We love it

Very cute and fun yet educational!!!
  • Teaches wrong letter sounds

    By Thewonggirl
This game is very engaging and appealing to my littles, however it teaches the wrong letter sounds! For example k says "kuh" however it should say /k/. Not building a solid phonics foundation.
  • Not compatible

This app is great for my 3 year old grandson BUT it has not been updated for IOS11. Even though I have paid for the extra words, it is useless. I can not launch the app since the update.
