worst support i have ever seen. They lie with fancy words. I definitely do not recommend shopping.
  • So far it’s ok

It does what it is supposed to do. I with it had more stores to choose from to price compare. But one major feature I wish it had was a barcode scanner. A lot of times I like looking at the items in person, then I’ll go online to price compare. Would be nice to just scan a barcode. Especially when an item might have the same name, but the UPC are different for shuttle differences in features.
  • Poor Interface

The sort options are extremely limited, only giving you options for price sorting or by relevance. No A-Z sorting available is disappointing as it is helpful to see things like if a certain game or movie is sold by the provider without having to rely on a poor search algorithm. The categories constantly misclassify items as well and needs some surprising amounts of work from a company who’s primary product is delivering relevant search results. Also, *Beware* of third party sellers on this site who are not well know retail brands. Some are honest vendors but there are known issues with some who may not provide products in the expected condition. Make sure you are aware of any electronics sold as refurbished if it’s not through a well known retailer.

  • Shopping lists used to be great...

    By elxido
...Now they are a pain. What is that ‘Products I like’ that gets in the way of my lists? Why did you mess up with the item checkboxes? I despise the ‘cute’ little icons and images that are wrong (I write ‘pan’, and it uses 🍳 instead of 🍞— just don’t do icons!!! why???), clutter, and make the list less functional. Now it’s a swipe to checkmark, but is it left or right swipe? Oh no, I deleted the item! I just wanted to checkmark it! Lists were simple and easy to use. You’ve made them annoying and complicated. Get rid of the ‘Products I like’ idiocy!!! Get rid of the icons!!! Go back to simple checkboxes!!!
  • Poorer list functionality

They moved shopping lists from the google home app to this app and made it worse. It constantly loses the list I’m looking at and goes back to “products I like” and it will randomly check off the wrong item when I swipe to check it off.
  • What did they do to shopping lists?

    By Droidattack
Why does isn’t it default to my shopping list? Why can’t they make that functionality front and center as it’s tied to Google Home? Do the Home and Shopping teams talk and share functionality ideas? Where did the check boxes go? Could you have your UX team/person use this app to actually shop? Please make it easier to get to my shopping list and stop defaulting to “products I like” (which have almost nothing to do with what my family shops for every week).
  • Horrible experience

    By grehce
Buy on Amazon instead. An hour after the order is placed I noticed something strange on the receipt, since I rarely use Google Shopping, it is the wrong address, much older address. The customer service rep says that I need to return the items to get a refund. How??????!! I don’t even live in that city any longer. Worst shopping experience you can have in this day and age.

If you are downloading this app to use the shopping list, find another app. This shopping list is useless for going shopping. Perhaps other functions work better, but I got it for the shopping list integration with Google Assistant and it is an unmitigated disaster. Thanks for making shopping harder, Google.
  • Default List Control

    By Pbody999
Not being able to control which list shows by default is a major issue. 1 Star until this is fixed.
