This app seems perfectly balanced with visual and audio clues to make you proficient in recalling the right words. Listening to native speakers is an immense help as you learn how the word is formed and used in their country. I love it!

I have the paid version and this app was great for Spanish (Spain). I managed to do the memrise courses up until about level 6 (in progress). Now I've started to learn Italian and Chinese. I highly recommend this as a supplement to your traditional studies as it makes vocabulary learning a lot easier. I cannot stress how helpful and important it is to have the people speaking the words and phrases (paid version). I think it really helps with perfecting the accent. Suggestions: perhaps have a separate feature for the speed review that allows you to choose to review only words instead of whole sentences. It takes time for me to read entire sentences so it would be nice if I could only focus on just vocab and some phrases verbs a I firmly believe that is most effective. Other than that, great app! Highly recommended!

I never rate apps but I feel like this one deserves it. A friend of mine recommended it. It repeats words enough for me to actually remember it. The interface is really cute and makes me want to go back everyday and keep learning new languages! Right now I'm learning Japanese and re-learning French.

I've only been using this for a short amount of time but my first impressions are great. Seems to be better for learning than Duolingo. (French). I'll continue to use both to supplement my language learning, however. UPDATE: Hit a paywall after 1 day of use don't get to do anything without paying $60.00. They offer you a deal the first day you use it and don't let you know the rest of the app gets shut off after a day. Super weak. So much for "Free language learning." Update update: Learning 12 words a language is not vast... The first day i used this app it seemed that i could move further on the 'planets' (groups of lessons) for free. When i logged in the next day, I couldn't access 90% of what I had accessed for free the day before. I was never informed it was going to go away. Its basically a bait-and-switch. Honestly, if I knew that was going to happen i probably would have paid for a year subscription, but i just feel cheated. Its basically a bait and switch. Unless i'm missing something, or something is messed up with my app, i don't get to learn past 12 words in french. TL,DR: Secretly this app is $60 a year but they don't outline whats free and whats not during your 1 day trial period
  • Solid App!

Some of the well known and used languages like Spanish and Mandarin have great programs on the app. Other languages like Thai and Tamil could use some improvements (like adding sound clips) to help with the user experience.

Details are a little vague but it's easy to understand. Study with this app along with another and fluency should be more obtainable. I really like it and it isn't too boring
