I guess it’s acceptable for developers to push updates without real release notes now? Just some cute blurb about how they update the app every week without a word about what’s different.

Not only is the app version much more difficult to use than the desktop, I have also lost all of my saved work. All of my saved spreadsheets now give me error that “document is on an unsupported server and cannot be retrieved” upon attempt to open either on app or desktop. Total waste of my time and effort put into these spreadsheets.

I’m now unable to add storage service in Excel, Word, or PowerPoint. I clicked on the storage service I would like to include, in the screen just freezes.

It’s simply not worth paying monthly for Excel, when the equivalent is available for free from numerous sources. I continued using Microsoft Office out of habit, until basic functions like creating and editing documents required a fee. Now using Pages, and am perfectly happy with its compatibility. It feels good to be free.
  • App Not Activating Office 365 Subscription

I've had an Office 365 Personal Subscription for a while now and it has been working well. After the latest update it won't recognize my subscription. I've talked with two customer support agents and they show my account going in good standing and having a Subscription but the app won't activate after logging in. This app is useless if it won't recognize my subscription. MS Word app does the same thing but OneDrive actually recognizes my subscription.
