  • This app is awesome!

Learning spanish, and this app is great. Plan to become a linguist with Duolingo!
  • It's fine

    By Jaybird mallard
I started using this app in order to figure out how to read poetry in German. I cannot read poetry in German yet, but maybe I'm getting closer? Sometimes I want to know more grammatical theory. Anyway it seems to be doing alright at teaching the language.
  • The Hearts Are Unnecessary

    By --Wolflover4--
The hearts defeat the purpose of the app, which is to learn. If a user runs out of hearts, they aren't able to learn for few hours. This is also annoying because it keeps users from keeping their streaks.
  • Excellent resource

    By Treeceart
I’ve gone through the courses for French and Esperanto and am so grateful for this free app. It’s a great start to learning any number of languages. Highly recommend giving it a try.
  • It's wrong

    By Neveragain00
I keep getting told that what I enter is wrong when it is correct and it will not allow me to go on. How can improve? I have deleted it and reloaded it. No change. How I am supposed to improve? I am deleting it and will try a different app.
  • Awesome app

I have learned so much with this app. I love it, it helps me better my Spanish. Now my children are using it too. Within two weeks, my older daughter knows more than I knew after completing one year of Spanish at school! I am so glad, I found this app!

  • A great tool to supplement your learning program

    By Oscar's boy
I really enjoy using Duolingo and I encourage my students to use it as well. It’s an effective tool to use when starting s nee on a new language and for maintaining one that you already know.
  • "Energy?"

    By SpicyMemes126
I like the app and it teaches well, but I don't like the idea of the energy which only limits you to 3 short parts of a lesson. It would be perfect without the energy though! 👍🏻
