  • Not as great anymore

This app used to be my one and only portal to manga. The UI is smooth, uncluttered, simple, effective. A true work of art and it has so many features which I enjoy. However, the app’s search function has deteriorated to the point that it has rendered this app useless. Search for any current and popular manga series; Black Clover, Dball Super, Boruto, etc...and all the app finds is manhwa, manhwa, and even more manhwa! This app worked flawlessly like 8 updates ago, and I know the sources/sites do infact have the manga on their websites. So please fix the search funtion of this app so it can be great again. Otherwise rename it to Manwha Rock and I can forget such a great app ever existed. In the meantime, I’ll be using Z-Manga by Zingbox cause at least the search function works. TLTR: This app is now useless due to a terrible search engine which only finds manhwa. P. S. I don’t have anything against manhwa (Id, Tower of God and The Breaker are awesome reads), but this used to be “MANGA” Rock! So, can’t we have both?
  • Major problem

There is not one manga on the app where 1/3 (mostly 2/3) of each chapter won’t load. Honestly I’ve only used the app to find titles of manga. It may be the update, but whatever is causing this problem should be fixed. It’s ruining the app, and if it doesn’t get better I’ll just use some other websites
  • Some good one is not available on here.

I've been using manga rock for quite a few years now, and I've seen its evolution with all the updates and stuff. I really liked how you could backup and restore on devices, but when I got a new phone and went to do that (adding in an account by Facebook) to back up all my manga favorites, history and such, it wouldn't work. I clicked on the Facebook option, and it said I had already been authorized, but when that tab closed, a pop-up would come up saying that an error occurred and the action couldn't be completed. I tried deleting and redownloading the app a couple of times and doing it on other devices, but it just won't work. I would really like to have all my stuff back, thanks. Otherwise though, I love the easy format and usable features of this app, as well as the large selection of manga to choose from. I've been using it since forever, and to me, no other manga apps beats this one. However, since recent updates, most, if not all, of them will have almost half of the pages not loadable, so I can't really use the app anymore.
  • Great but swiping is hard

The app will try to swipe to the next page instead of scroll across your zoomed in page, so it’s really hard to zoom in and read. Not good for narrow phones like iPhone X. For users, the workaround is to pan down, then side to side to scroll across the page before releasing and then swiping to the next page. Reproduction steps for developers: start reading. Tap to zoom in. Try to scroll to the side and observe how you instead change pages when you wanted to read off-screen content on the current page
  • Developers, please read this!

Look, I love this app! I’ve had it for a little while now, but from my small time having it, I’ve been able to read all of the manga I’ve ever imagined I could, but one. On Batoto, the latest part in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (JoJolion) is currently available to read, but I can’t help but die in the inside when I can’t read it on your app because it’s the most seamless app out there for reading manga. Period. If you could do me this one favor, I’d appreciate it so much! I’ve having withdrawals.

I love manga, because it's Japanese books! It have a lot of fighting, magic and power like Luffy's devil fruit! I want to read manga until it's done! I know One Piece manga is very long story! I'm enjoying manga until I die! I can read manga though I die! Andrew Vetor

Used to be a great app for reading manga, but lately the pages won’t load at all. If it were just a couple pages, I might not mind. But usually like 50% of the pages won’t load even when I try to reload them multiple times
