  • Apple Watch features are a little lacking

I love the app for the phone! However, I am annoyed that on the watch, the grocery store lists are not organized by category like it is on the phone app. I was really hoping to have a list on my watch so I didn’t have to carry around a list or my phone. Sadly that is not the case. It will work well for short lists but definitely not for longer grocery lists.
  • Very good but buggy app. Creates random dissatisfaction.

Please let me export all my 99 tasks. This is a must-have feature!!! I cannot find any export function in the app. Just give me a text file with all my tasks, or email me a .csv file please? Prior review: There is a very serious bug in this version. For the past few days if I create any task, then I drag it to a new spot on the list, the task disappears. The task is completely deleted. It is gone. It is lost. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE making this app totally useless!!!! Prior review: This Any.Do app is much better than the iOS Reminders app! I’ve been using this app for several months now, I paid $20 for the annual subscription, and I like this app, especially PLAN MY DAY! But it has a few shortcomings, listed below. Please show the name of the main task when I am creating, adding, or editing sub-tasks. Please let me drag and drop sub tasks to re-order the sequence. Please fix this random and intermittent error: Occasionally I type something in, a task or a sub-task, and when I press enter, my new item text or my updated text simply disappears, it does not save the item that I just created, it loses everything I had just typed or dictated. Thus the app is randomly unreliable, using iPhone X (with current iOS.) With MANY dozens of tasks, some having many sub tasks, a keyword search feature is desperately needed! Posted: July 2nd. • New look makes it more complicated

Why would they make a simple UI complicated and make this a less productive experience for the user? The new design is less straightforward and more cluttered. Once you add a task, you only either set a reminder for a certain date. You can no longer set a reminder for a date in the future AND set that same task to reoccur weekly or monthly. Instead, as soon as you choose the task to repeat, it will repeat it on the same day and time the task was created. Also, once you set a reminder to a task, you can’t choose a date for it to reoccur or make any other reminder based edits. You have to delete the task and create a new one, but are still bound to the issues outlined above. Any.do team, please understand that the simplicity of your app is what made it work. There’s no need to keep adding fancy things and changing the UI. Just make sure it’s simple and works and syncs well, and it will remain a favorite. After being told that the web version is the “source of truth” for the current tasks, I started using the web version while at work (instead of the chrome extension which is not being updated). However, whenever I open the app again, it has never synced to the web version. Even after selecting sync on both the web version and in the app, both versions continue to display their respective tasks, and the phone app never updates to the web version. This, of course, makes users less productive instead of more, as we end up having to do dual task removal and addition.
  • The Best Productivity App

It seems like “to do” apps always fall into one of two categories: too complicated or too minimal. Any.do falls nicely in between. It has a ton of features but it’s simple to use. The interface is clean - not cluttered. The best part? This app replaced my to do app, my calendar app, and my reminders app. Three apps! Would love to see a notes feature added and then I could replace another app. I signed up for the premium account right away. Nice work!
  • Complaint about the Tasks

My biggest complaint with the updates is the difficult with adding tasks on different days. That was the one feature that I used the most. They used to have an icon of a plus sign on the top right that allowed you to add a task to whatever day you were highlighted over. That feature is gone and makes adding tasks for future days more of an effort. I honestly still am having trouble trying to figure out how to add future tasks. Edit: To clarify, I am referring to the '+' on the top right that used to be there which allowed you to add a task or an event for the calendar.
  • The More Things “Change”

Yet another update in a tiny window of time (seems to be around once or twice a week) with the same standard cookie cutter iOS 11 explanation (“Sweeeet”) .... I’m all but positive these devs are mining data; they’re definitely on some BS, this app isn’t worth anywhere near a subscription at all, much less one so expensive. Don’t believe the hype. Don’t support this rapacious and predatory business model (cue dev misleading reply about “service“). The only reason it’s still on my iPhone (already been bounced from the other devices) is because I haven’t had a chance to transfer my data (been using this app for years, which should speak for its trajectory) to the other (just as useful if not more so) app(s) with more reasonable developers (sure, it’s been harvested several times over at this point but I don’t think they plan on being very forthcoming with/about it).
  • Notification madness

    By kyleeeeeeee4
This app is the most unintuitive app out there. The notifications badge if you have a task due at 9pm is just on ALL day. It just gives me anxiety all day because I can’t complete the task yet, but I can’t get rid of the badge. Dumb
  • Used to love this app

I used this app for years until the most recent update. Now every time I open the app I am unable to access my to-do list as I need to create an account. I couldn’t create an account from the app without a “server error,” so I went to the website on my computer and created an account from there. Went back to the app — still won’t work. I’m not about to connect this app to my FB because I really don’t see the need to have an account in the first place. I’ll be looking for another to-do list app. It’s too bad this one won’t work for me anymore.
  • I miss this app

    By ChaoticBuddhist
Or should I say I miss when this app had potential. What happened to Cal? Contacts? All the integration without your own suite of tools? Now it’s just another useless app that I’ve learned how to work without. I honestly hope you’ll get back on track.
  • Decent enough, but don’t upgrade unless you’re sure

I upgraded to premium in hopes the added features would provide what I need. AnyDo Premium didn’t fit for me, fine... my review isn’t about the app, it’s about AnyDo’s refund policy. I upgraded for a full year. Tried it out for a couple months, asked for a refund on the remaining subscription when It didn’t... to find out they do not refund subscriptions after 14 days. Figured I’d leave a review and let all you potential subscribers know. The developer’s response below is a good example of AnyDo’s customer service... heads up folks.
