  • Freezes once opened

App opens to a screen showing several product descriptions with a login and shop button at the top. Freezes on that screen and cannot scroll or tap anything. Network icon looks like it is trying to load something but then it returns to splash screen again. Completely unusable.
  • Great practice resource!

Except for a few small (hard to tap accurately on iPhone) buttons, this has been a great way to learn vocabulary and helpful phrases. We can choose pictures or plain cards, and we can choose which direction to translate: English to German or German to English. It even has basic grammar explanations. We like games for review, too!
  • Do NOT purchase!

    By World*Traveller
Regrettably, I purchased this App for $19.99 a few years ago. Since that time the price has halved ($9.99) whilst simultaneously requesting that I purchase it AGAIN for my iPhone and AGAIN for my iPod! Contrary to the advertising, it does NOT download the FULL programme to all of your devices once you have purchased it. Apart from being an absolute disgrace, it is also an unethical and unprofessional business model. If you want to learn German, I recommend trying out Duolingo. It is free and thus far appears to be an effective learning tool.
  • Should be zero star

I had this app along with the French version. After restoring my Ipad, I've lost all my contents. Restoring it is futile because it kept on saying that no content purchases was found with my account. I'm really disappointed and I feel cheated.

I use this app with other modes of learning, but I do find the explanations from this program help me understand more about what is going on with the language.
