The pronunciation tool is really beneficial!
  • Great practice for beginners

It is great for beginners; however, I wish they had more informal language. I love how they repeat things to you through a lesson and then revisit it later!
  • Loving it so far!

Hope to keep working on my French. The application is super easy to use and really fun. I'm truly enjoying this learning experience.

  • Not bad

I just started using Rosetta Stone to try to learn mandarin, and it feels great. The only problem I am having is that the speech is giving me a word to say, along with a picture of something, but I have no idea what I'm saying because there isn't an English translation next to the Chinese word and picture. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong but at this rate I'm going to learn to say things in Chinese with perfect pronunciation and not understand what I am saying.
  • App Updates - Amazing!

    By lgan4441
I bought Rosetta Stone Spanish through my employer's program. I had been studying using the software application on my PC. On a whim, I downloaded the app on my iPhone and iPad, just to try it out. I am very pleased with the current version of this app. I have been able to use the new features: Phrasebook, Stories and Audio Companion. The disadvantages (which is why this app only has a 4-star rating...) Live sessions cannot be scheduled or attended. The online account is not synchronized regularly when the app is used to take lessons. This app has helped me continue my study of Spanish (Latin America.) My online subscription ends on 12/31/2017: this app helps me to study, with the end goal of me being fluent (I'll settle for being able to converse without sounding like I am 6 years old.)
  • Rosetta Stone App

    By TradKnitter
Update: I had some problems with the app…after paying for the course, it wouldn't let me get beyond the first lesson. I was totally frustrated, especially when I called the support number and the person tried to tell me I had paid for a different dialect than I did. I even had an email with the invoice number and the name of the course I had spent a LOT of money on. Eventually, it all got worked out…but please…Rosetta Stone…you can do much better with your customer support. If they can look up everything about you, including the name of your firstborn child (just about) on their computer system, SURELY they should be able to see which dialect of a language you bought and paid for. I'm also not pleased that I bought the discs and then had to pay a substantial amount more to use the app. Double-Dipping your customers? That's not nice. Definitely not good for the reviews… It's August of 2017 and the writing part is STILL not available in the app. I've read ALL the reviews here. You can be more responsive to what your customers want. Most of the reviewers have been crying out to you for the writing portion to be available through the app. Aren't you listening? For the money spent, it would raise your reviews quite a bit if you added it. Come on, your developers can add that to the app. With the phones and iPads all having the ability to write…or to add a keyboard…for this much money, your customers deserve to have full capability of learning the language. That includes writing.
