  • Missing simple functions!

I have migrated from Google Inbox. I Can’t customize what actions be used in swipes and there is no select all option! ☹️ And please redesign gmail, too. I think Google Inbox layout was better than Gmail!
  • Trash App

    By canns98
This app is so annoying. I have two SEPARATE emails, one for professional things and the other for things I sign up for that send coupons and stuff. WHY on earth does this app send emails for my professional email to my basically ‘trash’ email!?!?! Seriously there’s no reason these two emails should be connected because they’re different with different passwords and everything. That’s exactly how I know google is reading and watching my emails because this should not be happening yet it does.
  • What is wrong with my email account??

    By screenfreeze!
I’ve enjoyed my Gmail account for 8 years with no issues. . . . Lately my email has done strange things. For example, I deleted and reinstalled the Gmail app hoping to fix problems. Gmail uploaded and the Gmail icon appeared on my home page, as usual. It also appeared on my iPad Safari bar — but the Gmail icon was medium grey in stead of red and white. . . . Today I tried to compose an email but was unable to type on the page. The page was solid white and the email address line and subject line were missing. . . . I created another Gmail account and had the same problem. . . . Also, I used to be able to swipe an incoming email into the trash. Now, whether I swipe left or right, it appears green — there is no red panel allowing you to send the email to trash before opening. Please advise asap. Thank you!
  • Good app but I can’t see unread email on app icon anymore

Other version of gmail app. I used to see 10 icon outside of app-which means there 10 unread email Now it only shows app no updates on the app icon.

  • Ads in your inbox

    By sickirony
After using the Inbox by Gmail app since its inception, I was alarmed to be notified that Inbox would be phased out in early 2019. Inbox told me to download the new Gmail app. Functionally, the new Gmail app is fine; it is aesthetically pleasing, and it incorporates many of Inbox’s best features. Unfortunately, it has integrated paid ads into your inbox. The ads inflate the already-high number of promotion and ad emails you likely receive, and they are effectively unwanted spam. To make matters worse, there isn’t a clear way to unsubscribe from them. This seems a clever way to avoid international email spam laws, but it’s clearly contrary to the spirit of such laws. These ads are unsolicited messages that live in your inbox, even if they aren’t technically emails. So thanks, Google. You’re killing arguably the best email app available, and funneling users into more unwanted advertisements.
  • Inbox is better

But they are getting rid of it so we have no choice but to use this app.
  • It doesn’t allow you in

I’ve been hearing around gmail is a great way to get mail, so I tried it out, but every attempt it says something went wrong and won’t allow me in
  • Swipe left to snooze

    By Mito Cringo
It would be great if Gmail allowed email snoozing by swiping left, just as snoozing works in Inbox, which Google is discontinuing. As Gmail is right now, it takes far too many taps to snooze an email.
  • Awful

Please don’t ditch inbox!!!!! I’ve given your gmail app and web app several chances and it’s just the most horrible experience. I love love love the inbox for gmail. Love the “done” feature and how it bundles the emails. Has such a clean interface and an absolute joy to use. Please if you’re gonna ditch inbox please give all of its amazing features over to the gmail app.
