  • Buggy since update

I just updated the gmail app on iOS 11 on an iPhone SE and it’s been very buggy. I’ve never had problems with the gmail app before, but now I’m having to quit and restart the app every day because messages haven’t sent or the compose screen isn’t properly viewing on the screen. I hope gmail fixes this fast and this isn’t because they’ve forgotten that not everyone has (or wants) a ginormous iPhone.
  • No Exchange Email Option

I’m a big fan of Gmail, but this app falls short. If you have an exchange account (like most people do at large companies) stick with the Outlook app. You cannot add a work exchange email to this Gmail app. The Outlook app let's you add every type of email account including work exchange email accounts, plus the calendar is integrated into the app which means I don't need to download an additional calendar app (you have it all in one place). Will change my review if Google ever decides to give us iPhone users exchange integration.

Can you please add “mark as read” option for email notifications. When ever new mail comes swipe down should show mark as read option.

  • Good but no unified inbox

The app is pretty much perfect aside from the fact that there is no option for unified inbox. I know Android has the option so I don’t know why iOS doesn’t.

ever since the last update, now it wont open any attachment xcel or docs. Guys, is it really that difficult to not mess with the right thing, and stop adding those junk. Very disappointed
  • New Update is HORRIBLE

A decent email app has become a 0 Star app. Why get rid of categorizing emails by default? Now I have hundreds of spam a day in my main inbox. Think I’ll go back to Yahoo Mail now.
  • Falls short of google inbox

Don’t kill Inbox till you have all the same features such as sweeping or deleting all unpinned categories items, more label processing features, etc.
