It's great but the only problems are that you have to watch videos for calling minutes and there are ads. Not pop up ads though and you can remove them for a small amount of money.

I love the app, except it doesn't alert you when you have a text and it sends a text for me that says I'm not available. And I'm on the app when it happens. So I think that should fix that.

Pinger's Textfree is a great tool. I use it to text from outside the country. It works more frequently to receive calls than Skype. Update: I have used Pingers text free 4 1/2 years now. Receives and calls out excellent. Voice quality is excellent. I typically use Skype to call but Pinger is more reliable to receive calls and answer. Less buggy.
  • So far, works as promised

I needed a number in this particular area code for certain business contacts. I'm a fashion designer and incorporated as an LLC in one state, have a storage facility in another state that I use as a warehouse plus workshop, and seamstresses that I contract out jobs to in a third and fourth state. I'm ALWAYS near a strong wifi signal, so it's no problem to use. I also drop-ship items that I didn't personally make (not passing other designers work off as my own; strictly above board). But when transactions occur, I don't need customers knowing what area code I sleep in... so these voip-type things come in handy.

Okay so I've been using this app for awhile and I love it except for two things. 1) You can not reply from the notification. You have to manually go on the app and to the conversation to answer. Which if annoying and time consuming, especially with every other app with some sort of messaging you can do this, besides mail which makes sense. 2) My music stops playing whenever I'm on the app. Recently the app has updated and before this update my music would just play a little quieter which I could deal with. But now every time I open the app it stops playing and every time I hit play for it to start playing again, it stops every time I go to open a conversation or text someone back. This is thoroughly annoying. All in all, this is a wonderful app and I highly recommend. But it'd be wonderful if these things were fixed. Thank you! Rated three stars due to each thing that is extremely annoying for me. But again, very wonderful app.
