I have used Pinger since 2012. So now 5 years later I am experiencing problems and I'm disappointed. I understand that Pinger runs on ads. Yet I am no longer given the option to watch videos to gain minutes instead in forced to either buy them in which my case I cannot afford it or I have to risk the safety of my personal information through surveys and different "offers" on third party websites. Which infact leads to sometimes not qualifying or to not transferring over the Textfree minutes/points after they already obtained my information. This is outrageous. I'm strongly disappointed with how now I have to consider looking at getting a different app. This app is great. Everything about it except for this.

The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because of all the dang adds, but as far as the actual app goes... it's great. It has been upgraded A LOT since I first started using it and has improved 100x! Love my Textfree!

Updated to three stars because they gave me the free minutes they promised me now three months into using the app. The app has a decent interface that I do not mind at all, phone calls sometimes drop out even with plenty of bars of service. But, it's a free call and you can always call back again and again and hope it works. There is a delay sometimes a significant delay from when I talk to when the person on the other line hears what I say. When I am able to receive verification code's at this number then I will give it five stars, they said they can usually talk to the website or something but this is not true and I am unable to register for any social sites or any other such sites as this is my only phone number so I am officially blocked from registering for any sites online. But I think this may be more of a problem with the zuckerfaces and the rest of the Jews running the Internet, however I would like apps like this to play hardball with them. SOMEBODY has got to GET TO these parasite kikes you know they're censoring things all over the Internet and refusing to let people on the sites if they don't have a phone number and give them their exact identity and access to everything they do. So essentially Jews are saying you are disallowed from using huge portions of the Internet unless you give up all your privacy to them.

This is a great app for calling or texting. It's terrific how you can earn talk minutes by completing offers or trying new games. There are two huge bugs that need addressed before I can give this app the 5 stars it deserves, and once fixed I will update this review. First, audio. When playing music or streaming (like iHeart or Amazon Music), playback stops when you open the app. I txt a lot so this is hugely annoying. There's no sense at all in pausing the music to read and reply to a txt. This is major for me and cost 2 stars. The other issue is the context options like Copy Past. There's a bug that when you tap in the text box to paste text the "Paste" button appears for less than one second. It's nearly impossible to tap it fast enough and takes multiple tries. Same when trying to select and copy text. Once selected the "Copy" appears for less than one second. I've contacted customer support but never got a reply. Please update these issues and I'll gladly update to 5 stars!

Easy to use. Easy to setup. Love having a second number, comes in handy when answering or selling things on Craigslist.
