    The driver was speeding and going in and out of lanes and traffic at excessive speed plus he was taking me to private airport and then around some other way. I ended get a bill if SAR 57 after 25% discount which should not cost with out discount. I feel I was taken for a ride.

    Lost $1400 in a day, all 30 charges where from uber. This app was 5 star until they leaked my information. Cannot get into my own uber account and dealing with my bank to get my money back. Lyft it is from now on.
  • First time Uber rider

    I was away on vacation where I decided to give Uber a try, instead of taxi or car rental. When the service connected it was great. However, being new, I didn’t realize Thai if you booked at say 2, were given an estimate time of 20 minutes, they could show up in less than 5. I had it happen to me twice. The first was at the hotel I was staying in. The driver was there (20 min. Earlier than I expected), she texted me and when I texted back it said it could not go through directly to her. The second time, same day, was at a large park. Apparently, the driver was at a location that I had no idea where it was. Rather than call me to try and meet up, he left. Both times I was charged a $5 cancellation fee. On the plus side, I was able to book another to pick me up. Lesson learned for me is don’t book until you’re ready and know the location well. But because there can be a delay, I will not use Uber for any time sensitive situations. It’s too much of a guessing game.

    1/17/18 After ELEVEN exchanges (where I kept receiving canned responses from Uber), someone finally reached out with a personal response. Of course, once I expressed my frustration and how the issue should have been handled differently (and how it STILL wasn’t resolved), I got another generic “Thanks for your feedback!” #disappointed 12/21/17 Submitted a request for help and received a generic response that didn’t address the bug at all. Reached out asking for help and they’re telling me to submit it all over again instead of looking at my account and working on it themselves. I don’t want to have to write everything out again. Please provide customer support and read the request the first time.

    Seen a lot of drivers using the system in a wrong way lately. They will schedule to pick up a rider and then won’t show it extending wait times after 5 minute limits .....What’s up with that!!
