  • Good but needs some bugs fixed

    By V12 tkk
I love the app but there are 2 bugs that really bother me. 1. When I get in my car and press shuffle it will play maybe 6-8 songs then repeat them unless I press shuffle again, there are over 700 songs on my playlist. 2. If I want to hear songs from for example “Band A” on my playlist I type the name in the search and all of their songs are listed. It will not only play the songs listed. It will play whatever was added chronologically instead of only songs for the band that I searched for in my playlist.
  • So many issues on Spotify...

    By Ace of spades 316
*Jan 18 update: So far Spotify is getting better by not showing from singers I clearly say "don't play music from this artist". So thank goodness for that. Now the only issue I currently have with the new update is that all the playlists on my homepage are now on shuffle play. Before the update I was able to play my recommended playlists, including my Discover Weekly playlist my Release Radar playlist. Now I'm not able to play a single song on Spotify in any playlist at all cuz they're all on shuffle play. Until this issue is fixed, I'm not gonna be able to play my music on Spotify.* First of all I want to thank you, Spotify, for taking action against R. Kelly and his crimes by removing his songs from all the playlists suggested to me. I really appreciate that. I also appreciate you making ways for me to remove singers that I don't care for, can't stand, and more importantly can't support due to their crimes of domestic violence and sexual assault from my homepage period. I feel much more free to eliminate the music from those I don't want to check out so I can finally listen to the music I DO want to check out. I finally have the freedom to listen to all the music I actually like without having to listen to music from people I don't like. So I thank you again for that. I would have given this app a five-star rating, but unfortunately there are a lot of issues I have w/ Spotify that's preventing me from doing that, which are: 1) for the past two months I've been listening to music from the playlist suggested to me. Then all of a sudden in the middle of playing they repeated a song I just played a while ago, even though I was nowhere near finished with my playlist at all - I want to be able to listen to my playlist smoothly from the beginning all the way up to the end without certain tracks being repeated without my permission. 2) another problem I have since Christmas time is when I'm playing music from a playlist, they would start playing songs that are NOT from the playlist at all! It happened the time I was listening to music from Mariah Carey's Christmas playlist Spotify made for me and Toni Braxton's new album Sex & Cigarettes when it first came out on April. Both of those times they played totally random songs that are NOT in the playlist and NOT in the album. - I DON'T want to hear songs that are NOT in the playlist and NOT in the album. I want to listen to songs that ARE on the playlist and ARE on the album. 3) the time Christina Aguilera's Liberation album came out, I wanted to play the album thinking I would be able to listen to the entire album. Unfortunately the time I played the 15-track album, it only played just three songs and then all of a sudden it stopped completely. It happened to me not once but twice! - I want to listen to the whole album completely without any stops at all. 4) I applauded Spotify for letting me choose which music from artists I don't want played. However I notice that you guys still promote music from singers I don't care for, even though I made it perfectly clear that I DON'T want to check out their music. The main example is when I choose not to want Teyana Taylor's music on my Spotify; yet two playlists Are & Be and The Newness kept shoving her music down my throat despite the fact the I made it perfectly clear that I don't want her music on my homepage! And it's not just Teyana Taylor. A lot of music from singers that I say I don't want on my Spotify STILL appear on the home pages of singers that I actually like and follow. Not only that but Spotify has the nerve to shove down playlists from singers I made clear I don't want to check out! - I only want to hear music from artists that I LIKE and artists that I FOLLOW. When I make it perfectly clear that I don't want to hear music from certain singers, DON'T keep shoving their music down my throat! When I say I don't want music from Halsey, don't shove the "This Is Halsey" playlist down my throat! I don't understand why that's so difficult for Spotify to grasp. 5) Speaking of which, whenever I choose whose music from singers I don't want played on my home page, a lot of them still appear on my Spotify every time I reached one hundred or more artists. Why are they limiting me to how many singers I don't want to check out? - I want to be able to choose over a hundred artists I DON'T want on my homepage without Spotify shoving the rest of the singers I don't want to check out down my throat. Because of these issues I'm currently having on Spotify, I'm afraid I have no choice but to rate this app two stars. The only way I will give Spotify a five-star rating IF AND ONLY IF they fix these issues I mentioned.

I was wondering if y’all can add more music of Randy Roger Band ( Superman ) I miss you with me, and I wish you could. Mac Miller the green room.... some of his live music is awesome. Matt Chandler sermons and the one he’s preaching and Matt Redman ( 10,000 Reasons is being played in the background) Other than this request.... awesome app.

  • Bad update

    By Zechariah3000
Hate the new update. Albums are now sorted by “popularity” over chronological order. Moreover, all artist discography is now lumped together into one list, whereas it used to be separated by release type: albums, singles, compilations, etc. Who asked for these changes???
