I can't even make calls on my app. It just says "connecting" with the connecting sound, and doesn't even dial. Then it says "no answer" when it didn't even call them. Also, my calls drop about every 3 minutes or so. I guess it's time to start using a different app.

My husband is working in Australia while I'm in the US and he was hospitalised. We always spoke over messenger but the situation we were in I needed a calling card. Calling cards are terrible and the connection is awful. Calling over Skype international is crystal clear and amazing!!! So blessed right now

I have an iPhone but family out of town has android. This is a good app for talking to them when they want to see us. A good substitute for FaceTime.

After almost 15 years using skype and paying for services, we now have to document our birthdates. It is mandatory. No way around it. Sorry, but I don't trust any online service with this kind of info. If it's online: it's vulnerable. I need to be able to manage my privacy on my own terms. Time to find an alternative.

We have had superb success in making Skype voice only calls. Sound quality was excellent. Video calls are equally great, but when traveling may depend on having sufficient bandwidth.
