  • Version 11.8.2 has annoying bugs with Search

    I don’t know if the bug was introduced in an earlier version or what, but it’s annoying how searching for an item always fails when you first launch the app. It always takes you to their ad, such as for Echo dot, and when you go back to the search field, it doesn’t even recognize your search as a previous search so you have to start over. In addition to that, the annoying introduction of the delivery location right below the search field seems to interfere with searches, as well. If you try to select the top search result, it seems to think you’ve selected the Delivery section which is “underneath” the top result. I think the same thing might be happening with the bug first mentioned above, where hitting the Return or Search results brings up the “featured product” instead of the actual search.

    My app has been working just fine till it auto-updated itself and now the app keeps crashing. Now I can’t use the app. Thanks for nothing.
  • What Happened?

    This app has been my go to for shopping but recent updates have resulted in so many problems. Searching from the home page takes me to an Echo ad so I have to re-enter the search. Selecting items from the drop down doesn’t go back to the product page. I have to click anywhere but the menu after making my selection(s). There are issues of having to sign in and recently I couldn’t place an order at all. Maybe I’m using it wrong, but I can’t search my lists. I can’t even see all of my lists because clicking the hyperlink does nothing. That’s not the only place it’s happened but who can keep track. Take us back to the app that worked please.

    Every thing about Amazon is getting worse and worse. Do not think you are too big to fail. I notice I shop online at Amazon far less than before. Your awful choices of mail carriers and poor customer service (whatever country you’ve decided to ship a bunch of jobs to) will be the end of you.

    I’ve noticed the last few weeks when I search for an item it takes me to the daily sales instead of the result set for the item I’m looking for. I have to go back to the search screen and enter the item again before it actually takes me to the results.

    Touch ID won’t work when trying to log out to sign in again I get an error when trying to check out I get an error the option to turn off Touch ID is missing for Amazon everywhere on the phone not sure what happened but it’s a mess
