Ads after every word it’s horrible
  • Disgusting ads

    By MichTex
I was happy playing the original WWF, but when I got a new iPhone last year it would not allow me to continue — I had to download WWF2 instead. Although I lost my regular playing buddies, the worst part is that it includes some awful ads, especially a recurring one that features a game with pregnant woman in bed with someone else when her fiance calls. And a man being mean to a woman. What horrible content, a game that makes light of fidelity and kindness
  • Speed games often malfunction!!!

    By Pkmamma
The app just closes or won’t load in the middle of speed games!!! It is beyond frustrating!!!
  • Needs updating

    By laurielou2
I play this game daily, but since the latest iOS update, the lag is RIDICULOUS! So slow!! Also, getting tired of asking if I want to “upgrade” monthly, which would amount to paying $9.99/month for a few extra coins daily. No, thanks. Already paid for an ad-free version of the game back in the day. Ballsy on the part of developers.
  • Shame on Zynga for rip off Ad Free Bundle

    By WarminAlaska
Annoyed with getting two or three pop up ads for every move, I decided to give the Ad free purchase a try. The option was pricey at $10 for the bundle, but I assumed it was a one time purchase. It was a bundle after all, and no wording in the purchase gave any time limits. My shock when after only 30 days. The pop up’s started again. I reached out to the developer as to why I was getting ads?? Only to be informed that my $10 only bought 30 days. Clearly a trick to get me to buy it and rip off in price at $120 per year for Ad free.
  • Coins total

My coins total never goes above 1500. But I earn coins all the time. If I buy power ups the total does go down.
  • Words With Friends 2 play

    By Investigator LPSM
I do love Words With Friends 2! I stay connected with friends/family that I don’t get to see often. I don’t like the constant offers to get something by paying for it. I don’t “pay to play” on my phone. It is a game. I like to play and earn “coins” or earn ways to play more by playing. It is disappointing when the playing ways to earn more play are taken away. And when you are constantly offered “pay for” things or “subscriptions”. It is a game. I will watch ads or play more to earn more play. Not going to pay to play!!
  • Ads are much too long

    By pabl400
I really like the fact that I can communicate with the other players if I choose to do so, however some of the ads go on and on and on and on which takes away from the enjoyment of playing. Since I wrote the initial review, I have deleted words 2 and gone back to the original words with friends hoping the ads would not be as long and drawn out. Unfortunately that did not change but I no longer have to deal with all the prize nonsense. Oops, the prize nonsense is on the original as well. I can understand why developers need to sell some advertisement space as many of them do, however when the game user needs to spend more time waiting for the ad to end than playing the game, that is overkill. There are ads on many of the games I use but none are as lengthy or frequent as those on Words with friends and therefore not annoying.
  • WAY too many ads

    By GenieJT
Listen, I’m not anti-ads. I know games need ads to keep running. But WWF2 gives you SO many ads (literally 2 ads every time you make a move in any given game) PLUS more ads even when you’re OUT of game. Are the devs desperate for money or something? Are you starving? Just start a gofundme if y’all are poor, I’m happy to donate to that, just for the love of god stop inundating your players with one ad per second. Uninstalled and will be going to WordFeud, a much more user friendly scrabble-type game.
  • Game broken and cheats

    By ladybug828
Really takes the fun out of the game when you play the solo challenge I don’t use a dictionary but I’m playing against the computer that has every weird word you’ve never seen in your life and you’ll never see again except when you play the stupid game. Then you play rivals and it doesn’t even add up the stars correctly 1+3 should be 4 but it still equals one in their eyes
