I began using daylio earlier this year when I had an android phone. It is a really great and easy way to help me track my moods and stay on top of my general journaling habits. But I recently switched to iPhone and was devastated to find out that my previous entries, while backed up on google drive, wouldn’t transfer to my iPhone because (according to their FAQs) of different storage functionalities. I wish there was a way we can create an account and transfer our entries to different phones regardless if we’re backing up entries on iCloud or google drive. Also, the android version came with a free pin lock while the iPhone version only has this feature with premium. Wish it was the same! I do recommend this app but it’s such a hassle to lose all your previous entries like this.

Ive been trying to track what triggers bad moods and what helps elevate me to good moods and this app does it all. I use it with my therapist to really work it out. It has graphs, correlations, a huge amount of customization and it’s a fun interface. I never leave reviews but I felt strongly enough to buy the paid version bc it’s that good.

I absolutely love this app and have been using it for a while. I think it would be great if it had an option to add some photos and videos into the journal entries. Other than that, I think it’s perfect.

This was suggested by my therapist to help with a number of things- perspective being one of them. I like being able to adapt the activities and feelings to exactly what is going on in my world rather than using the pre-programmed options. I have recommended it to many of my friends already.

I actually like to use this to plan out my day. I made an icon for each and every thing I need to do on a daily basis. I wake up and choose the icons I plan to do that day. For example I have a wash the dog icon and clean the bathroom. It gets me excited for the day. It is a very reasonable price like 4 or $5. I love the yearly statistics and the monthly view. I can easily see the last time I washed the dogs etc. I guess a suggestion for the developer would be to make a option to check off things you accomplished or not but that wasn’t what this app was intended for but they could make this a journal/habit tracker type deal. If I don’t do something I planned I just remove it from the entry. Thanks for making this app I LOVE IT!

it’s nice to write things down abt your day. i used to have a diary but then i’d be to lazy to get up in write in it, so i switched to this and its working for me at least. helps calm me down, less anxious and stressed. a good way to calm down before sleeping.
