There are 460+ audio points that play automatically along the scenic drive, featuring the best things to see and do, stories, tips and driving directions. Professional tour guides share advice on how to prioritize your time at recommended “not to be missed” viewpoints, suggested side-trips and places of interest. Tours work offline, using free GPS signal and location services, so no data roaming, network, or wifi is required while touring. It’s Just Like Having a Tour Guide in Your Car™ WHAT TO EXPECT: America’s first National Park – Yellowstone, continues to awe visitors with amazing geothermal features; geysers, boiling mud, fumaroles and hot springs are abundant throughout the park, as well as spectacular mountains, lakes, canyons and rivers. It is also home to a diverse range of wildlife including grizzly bears, bison, wolves, elk and pronghorn. Grand Teton National Park serene beauty is a fantastic contrast to the volatility of Yellowstone. With perhaps even better wildlife spotting opportunities and fewer visitors vying for that perfect image. As we drive the Grand Loop Drive, you’ll appreciate the geology 101 recap to better understand the popular geothermal wonders like Old Faithful in the Upper Geyser Basin and Grand Prismatic Spring in the Midway Geyser Basin, while we reveal some lessor visited areas, that are equally stunning. See why it’s considered a megafauna location with the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 and uncover the story behind how a tiny Yellowstone bacterium helps solves crimes. And visit the historical remnants of the pioneering settlers on their forge West and the visit the location of one of the most popular images help to promote the Park. Along with many other stories, tips and directions that will help refine and enhance your Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park experience. WHAT YOU’LL SEE: Some of the highlights along the route include; • Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin • Grand Prismatic Spring • Mud Volcano and Sulphur Cauldron • The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone • West Thumb • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port • Grand Tetons • Jenny Lake • Elk Refuge • Tower Fall • Mammoth Hot Springs • Fountain Paint Port BATTERY USAGE: ++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage. We strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. Avoid using a direct connection to the USB port of a rental vehicle. IPADS: ** iPad models must include a GPS chip. Please note that Apple only install these on the iPad Wifi + Cellular models. Wifi only iPad models have limited location service capabilities and are unable to play commentary automatically. DOWNLOADING: The apps are larger in size in order to work offline. You must be on wifi to download as the store may block the download over cellular networks. • Roger saved Yellowstone

    By Rubyguitar
We named the audio tour narrator « Roger », and I literally found this app as I was driving Into the park. Roger told us so much about the ecology, history, and management of the park in addition to encouraging us to visit some points of interest we definitely would have missed otherwise!

This is a must have for anyone visiting Yellowstone! Besides making sure you hit all the best parts of the park, it keeps you entertained with stories and facts about the park- will (and have been) recommend to everyone I know!
  • Yellowstone and Grand Teton Combo

    By kimbolsu
Simply amazing! We learned so much along the way and the guide is super helpful with directions, tips, recommendations and history. Will look for other tours in future travels! Definitely need a car charger as it does use a good bit of battery.
  • Simply, A must have

    By Mjmboomar
I went to Grand Teton and Yellow Stone without firm plans on where to start, what to see, and how much time to spend in each place. The day before my trip i found this guide with high ratings but i hesitated to buy it at first. I thought it is expensive. It is absolutely worth the price. It is a must have for your trip. I end up seeing almost everything in both national parks with fun and informative commentary throughout the whole trip.
  • Tour guide in your pocket!

    By Jjones91
Just returned from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons! This app was incredible - no internet or signal needed! It was like having our own personal tour guide without having to take a bus or a guided tour. We learned so much about the parks and what to look for and where to park etc... totally amazing and worth it!!!
  • Can’t Do Another National Park Road Trip without This!

    By aymiewilson
Just got back from my first visit to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This guide was FANTASTIC and worth $10 FOR SURE. So easy to use. The commentary, background and stop suggestions were always on point and entertaining. Plus we got bonus directions on where to turn in an area of the US with almost no cell service and thus hard to use my traditional Google Maps as GPS.

  • Add switch to disable location centering

    By AuJuMa
App worked great, very useful, great value. Please add a switch to prevent the app from centering the view on your current location. This will allow preview of the route ahead of time when you’re far away from the route.
  • Best $10 I spent on my vacation!

    By Engine8FireWife
This is actually the first review I’ve ever written for an app. Let me tell you, this was the best $10 I spent during my vacation. I’ve been to Yellowstone several times during my life and I thought I’ve seen most of it. Apparently I haven’t. This guide took me to places I didn’t know existed. It’s informative and tells you exactly where you are and where you may want to stop. We learned so much history along our travels. For first timers going to Yellowstone, you need more than one day. Give yourself at least 3 days in Yellowstone and 1-2 days at The Grand Tetons. And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t be dumb and get close to the WILD animals for selfies and pictures. I’ve seen so many dumb people over the years behaving badly. Don’t be one of those people! Download the App, you’ll be so thankful you did!
  • Been to Yellowstone many times-still loved it.

    By Skytootsie
We have been to Yellowstone and the Tetons many times and this time I forgot to bring my park guide book with. I usually read little tidbits out loud to my family (they don’t enjoy-lol). This time when we got to Gardiner, an ad showed up on Facebook—funny how that happens. Took the chance and purchased. We loved it! Interesting info about geological formations, map information letting us know when to turn for interesting sights to see. Pleasant voice to listen to. Will definitely purchase for more road trips!
