In 5 Digit mode select a Date and receive back the 5 Digit Julian Date, i.e. June 29th, 2017, would be 17180. (17) being the year 2017 and (180) being the 180th day in 2017. Purchase the Full Julian Date mode and June 29th, 2017 12:17:54 PM would be 2457934.01243. You also are able to get the Calendar Date from the Julian Date.

  • Not working correctly now.

    Entering 08204 and getting a January 24, 2008 date.
  • Works great in govt application

    By TeraByte
This will provide you the number of days from the first of the year. Or you provide a date and it will count out the days. Works best for those who use applications that require that type of accounting. For me it’s a must and I appreciate the simple presentation ... and the fact it has a complication for the iWatch. There are some annoyances with the complication, it sometimes doesn’t update daily and when you tap on the Julian date it presents a larger date, but that date is always incorrect. If not for the annoyance with the complication this app deserves a 5 star rating.
  • Perfect for Julian Date

It's simple. And if you use Julian dates its the one you need! I've been looking for a Julian date Application and this one is better and easier than what I expected.
  • Works Perfectly As Described

This app works perfectly as designed. It was exactly what I was looking for. A bonus that it goes back and forth from calendar date to Julian.
  • Works well

For those people giving a low rating because it is not the type of information they want is ridiculous. Please rate the product and not your inability to read product description. This app works exactly as described.
  • Year 2000

    By Your22
The year 2000 is incorrect. It is NOT a leap year. "The year must be dividable evenly by four and NOT evenly by 100."
  • Wait...

I was totally trying to find the seven digit Julian date... I have no idea what the 5 digit one is. So that was a bummer for me.
  • IMDS users, get this app!

Simple, effective, perfect for military maintenance.
  • May not be what you're expecting...

    By CyndyMW
There are Julian dates (typically 7 digits referring to the number of days since noon, November 24, 4714 BC) and the simpler 5 digit Julian calendar of 365 days in a year. They are not the same. This app is for the latter, and does a good job of it from what I can tell. But sadly wasn't what I was expecting. If the app is enhanced to explain the differences between these often confused constructs, and ideally calculate either one, I'll happily update my rating.
  • Runs as advertised

Simple and easy to use. Couldn't ask for a better way to get the Julian date quickly.
