Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded 650 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced the addition of over 80 beloved Pokémon among several other new features. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops, found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments, to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! Note: - This app is free-to-play and offers in-game purchases. • Coins not showing up!!!

I love this game but the new gym defender coin collection system is totally broke. I just watched my Pokémon return with 50 pokecoins yet 50 were never added to my current amount. This has happened for about 9 Pokémon now. Let me be clear I have not reached the daily limit. I'm saying I haven't collected coins for two days now and my Pokémon have been in gyms for hours before each returned on each day. One gym says I've been there 1743 days.??When reporting a bug they dodge the coin issue. They have a disclaimer saying they can change the limit randomly without notification. But I'm not getting any that I see return with my Pokémon. That means it's broke and they don't want you to know yet. Give me my coins. I worked really hard for all that gym time. I have 144 hours on the gym defending medal yet no daily limit coin collection.
  • Gold problem

I have been working at Pokémon go since the day it came out but this new gym system has totally screwed up things. I have my Pokémon in multiple gyms and a Pokémon that has been in a gym for over a day just got returned to me and there is no gold to fallow. The game is broken and no longer gives you the better currency meaning you have to use real money if you want to keep up with this game.
  • Update has some problems

The recent update brought some changes with a few annoyances. First, it's frustrating to walk up to a guy to try to add a Pokémon to find it's being attached. It would be nice to know if the guy is under attach from a distance. Also, the Apple Watch app randomly stops tracking at different time intervals when continuously walking. Hopefully some fixes can be added to make the game a little better
  • Gym system

Okay so this gym system is cracked. So I have 3 pokemon in different gyms for 17+ hours on all. If they all happen to get kicked out on the same day, I can't collect anything more than 50 coins for ALL of them. That's messed up. I've had 4 different pokemon in gyms and only have 50 coins to show for it. GIVE US OUR COINS!!! Getting so fed up with this game. And drop that speed cap!!!

Niantic just pulled the sheet over our eyes and is raping us. Sorry the horrible Graphic language but that's what's happening. This new gym/raid update is a money grab. You pretend this gym update will help, but then you take away out only way of earning pokecoins to make this game free. Gyms Are the only source of pokecoins. My last 5 Pokémon have returned with no coins. Halving the daily limit, while In turn also doubling and tripling prices with new potions and raid events, Which you knew we wouldn't be able to stick on up now after the gym change!!!Wow man. Didn't think you guys would be so blatant and care so little. I hope people catch on soon so you have to change something. Man you really had the community pumped for a change. Way to to miss the boat and the water it's in all together.

I've always had fun playing this game, with each new update the game gets better and better. Highly recommend everyone play. It gets you out and walking.
  • Gym update is terrible

The most uncompetitive update ever. No more leveling gyms, you just place one. Defeats the whole purpose of gyms, leveling gyms was like 'training', unrealistic now. No more stardust from gyms? Also a dumb feature. Can't place the same Pokémon on a gym? That's also dumb. Bring back the old gyms, keep the max revives. Give us new features INSTEAD of replacing the old

The game started off great, now you can't partake in gym battles unless you buy potions, they don't drop anymore at pokestops. I get the developers need to make money too but this makes the game not enjoyable
  • Everything.

Second review; updated. Congrats, you raised my 1 Star review to 3 stars. Adding second Gen Pokémon, the raids are pretty spectacular in my opinion, especially with the gym badges. Yet, we have yet to see where the legendaries are (which we should have at least got 1 already a few months ago). I think you should have already placed the trading feature on here, PvP..possibly add more interactions in the game. Now, if there was a way to obtain all the available Pokémon without having to travel across seas, trade/battle with other players, already get the Legendaries, my review would have been up to 4 stars. Possibly the Pokémon you have as a "buddy" should follow you/see them on you when you're looking at your person. Also maybe when we are getting eggs, have their corresponding colors. (Like Elekid with yellow with a black shape in the middle of it) Togepi with the white egg and colorful shapes, ect. Possibly a day care type ordeal where you can put a certain Pokémon with Ditto/unless you have the male/female counterpart to give us the eggs for that Pokémon so we can hatch them for candies and such...that would be pretty nice.
