Just to clarify, I am not one of those trolls who gross around telling people their stuff is crappy, because this isn’t bad. It’s just that LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS PAID CONTENT! I can’t even compose music for the FLUTE without paying! And I OWN and PLAY a flute! Seriously devs shouldn’t become like frickin EA
  • Great app

Great app, although I published something by accident and I’m not sure how to take it down.

This helped me with sight reading in my ninth grade AP Keyboard class so I recommend this.

I have been using your app for a while now, primarily for teaching purposes since I can arrange the songs according to my students’ vocal ranges. It’s a great app and I think it wields some potential to be an even better one. However, it needs some work. Rather than just complaining, I figured I’d take the time to write some feedback and suggest how to fix them to give this app the justice it deserves. 1. Copying notes to different measures. -I have noticed I can highlight certain notes in a measure but when I go to copy it, it copies the entire measure and all of the notes from the other parts that I DO NOT want to copy. -Example, I’ll want to copy the line from bass clef and duplicate it as many times I need to. However, I will want to change the melody but I am unable because it copies the entire measure as opposed to just the line I highlighted. This is frustrating because it makes a composer have to write out the notes again when they just spent a lot of time doing so already. As a writer, we like to save as much time as possible when duplicating phrases and such because it can be distracting when we think of something else but we’re too busy writing the same phrase we just wrote a second ago. 2. Slurs -they tend to overlap the notes and it looks messy. (I’ll send some photos as examples) 3. Verses (vocal) -when writing songs, sometimes we like to sing verse 2 the same as the first. I have tried but I cannot seem to make a verse 2 line below the verse 1 line so that way I don’t have to write the whole thing out again. I know you can copy and paste but it saves more time and paper when we can just add another line of lyrics below the other one. 4. Eraser option -it would be nice if there was a certain tool that we could use that is solely for deleting a mark, ie, accidentals, dynamic marks, notes, etc. 5. Lyrics -I think they need to be larger. When I print them out, my students have a tough time reading them because of how small they are. Yes, we can blow it up with a copier but if it were already large enough it would save time and frustration. Also, I recommend the lyrics line be a little lower because they tend to collide with some of the low notes making it hard to read. 6. Changing keys (what I need help with) I’ve been able to do it sometimes, but there are a few occasions I cannot change key signatures. When I go to the main control board, where the instruments are and where you enter the title information, it shows that I have the proper key signature but when I go to write my notes, one of my bass clefs isn’t showing that I’m in g major. It seems to leave out my sharp. Maybe a glitch but I do need help on that nonetheless. 6. Voice two option I like this, but it needs work, particularly with spacing. A lot of the voicing notation overlaps the notes or accidentals of the other voice and it makes it hard to read. Also, when it prints the V2 notes, it is light grey. I would recommend just keeping it the same colour as V1 when it prints. I think it is a great idea to make it a little lighter shade when you’re writing but after we print it, it is unnecessary to separate the two. 7. Instrument/parts labelling -It would be nice to see an option where we can label the different parts on the music score rather than expecting people to do some guess work. Granted, probably most of the people using the app aren’t writing for more than one or two parts anyways but I think it should be an option, at least for my sake. I use this program to arrange for orchestras, SATB, and studio musicians and it would be nice to have a clean score that’s well organised with proper labelling. 8. Octave option -Sometimes, we need to write notes that take place an octave lower than written and it is usually stated right under the clef where it will typically say something like “8va.“ this is mostly used for something like tenor voices or a bass line but it would be nice to have that as an option. 9. Pedals/sustain -probably not everyone uses this but it would be nice to have those markings where it indicates where to use a pedal and sustain the notes and release. *it is a great program and I think it could even compete with the high end softwares like Sibelius, sonar, finale, etc. I think if the developers take these suggestions to heart and keep the user friendly theme you have going right now, you could sell more of this product. I love giving suggestions for these kinds of things and I hope this helps some. Thank you
