Every time I turn it on my kids unplugg it and I don’t get the notification that it is off even though I should be getting it

  • Circle helps manage all my kiddos devices!!

We are a foster family and we have kids from all kinds of situations. It’s been a constant struggle to stay on top of their internet usage, both time wise and context! With circle I am able to pause each individual child/teens internet until they can get homework or a chore finished, but I can also reward them with extra time! They love the positive reinforcement they get just from getting their bed made or making a good grade on a test! Not only can I control internet usage but it gives me a breakdown of how much time they spend on each type of internet platform, and allows me to ‘not allow’ certain apps. Circle is a life saver for this family!!!
  • Wouldn’t pay a dime

    By Cheap-o-dad
I have to pay to set time limits and bedtimes on individual devices. My last router you could do all of this stuff without having to pay $4.99 a month to do it. I guess that’s the world we live in now. Things that were once free they’ve found ways to charge us for.
  • Trial does not work

    By Sylinsr
Activated the trial but app will not recognize it. No way to get it to work either gave up and won’t bother signing up if the trial won’t even work.
  • Frequent disconnects

    By 1akv1
I always have to pair a new circle to get to the app whenever I want to check how things are with my kids. Always get a message you have lost th connection to the circle. Even i am few feet away from the router . Does this also mean the profile setttings will not be applicable ti my kids?
  • For the Kids... and the Parents

    By jess70810
For the kids writing their reviews, because I know you’re here, because I’m here, take it from me, a 16 year old girl. Prove to your parents that you’re not just some dumb kid, and delete your social media. It’s not doing anything for you, so why do anything for it? Maybe your ability to control yourself will prove to your parents that you don’t need something as juvenile as a circle. And then it’ll be your turn to criticize them for being the phone zombies. This device is, truthfully, useless. For an amazing price of $0.00, you could limit your internet usage on your own. As an added bonus, you’ll get the ability of self control for free. Now, don’t you think that’s a lot more valuable than the device you actually have to pay for? Give them this gift for life, not one that expires after they turn 18. If you don’t believe me, just think, your parents won’t set any time limits, or bedtimes, or block any websites, like mine do. If you don’t allow your kids to learn things for themselves, you’re doing a huge disservice to them, and basically setting them up for failure. If they’re smart, they’ll do what’s best for them. Trust in the process.
  • Horrible

Worst thing I have ever seen on our Xbox it won’t let us play so when we went to close the circle the Xbox was not on the devices list.
  • It you need to add armor to it!

It was great for the first few days. It was a great way to limit screen time. However. After two weeks my kids started getting really mad at me. They started unplugging and hiding the circle. Then one day I came back from work and in the drive way I saw a smashed up circle! I grounded my kids but I am not buying it again that thing was $99. Plus it slowed down the internet.
