  • Wanted to like but so flawed and unreliable

Circle is okay. Circle go is a complete waste of money. It does not work. My circle app shows that circle go is enabled on my child's phone but when I test it nothing is filtered, no history is logged, and no time limits enforced. It did work for a few weeks but now it does not work at all.

Everything seemed to work great...but not working so well now. The bedtime feature is setup on one profile I added, but all of the devices on that profile stop working way before “bedtime”. Sometimes all of the devices stop working. Hmmm
  • Great concept

Like that I can control WiFi by user. Easy to use app. But whenever I try to grant reward extra time the app crashes.

hello. as a young child Disney meant fun! games, rides movies, Hannah Montana. so I’m not completely sure as to why Disney has created an app that restricts children. I get that everyone needs boundaries but seriously if you feel as if you need to download an app and take away some of your child’s freedom, I ask you to reconsider. not only will the decision to download and control your child inevitably lead to a sense of mistrust it will also create a sneakier kid. a strong basis of any relationship is trust and by using some portions of this app you are outrightly saying you do not trust your child. while some of the features are very efficient, such as the one that allows you to see how much time you’ve spent on your apps, some are far more restrictive than nesacary. while I understand the internet poses numerous real life threats to children, this app as well as no app will garuntee the safety of your kid. talk to your child and explain to them why you are concerned. tell them what to do in the various situations that you are concerned about. in this day and age they have access to the internet whether that be at school, through a sibling or friends device or at numerous other places. instead of sheltering them with this sort of app explain to them why you’re considering putting the app in motion in the first place. keep them aware of the real dangers on the internet and caution them. I’m sure many people have heard “strict parents create sneaky kids” and while not accurate in some situations, many a times it is. if you don’t have a basic level of trust with your child/family than instead of downloading this app, which believe me will only cause further frustration and lack of trust find another solution. this is one of the things you will look back on and regret, if you so choose to go through with this.

It was a hassle to set up since we use 2 routers with 4 signals. Once it was set up it would drop connections repeatedly and regularly. Don’t waste you money on this.
  • When it works, it works great

Circle does what we need it to, usually. Features are great and profile setup is easy. Identifying all devices on your network takes time when you only have the MAC address to work from. Many times though the Circle cannot be found by the app. Just waiting a while makes it found - Several app resets later. A few times a day the app sends a notification that circle is offline, then Online a bit later. We’ve had to reboot it 5 times in 25 days when it wouldn’t respond at all. We have 5 days left to decide if we are returning it. On the fence.
