  • Unusable

    By MeanParent
Had to shut it down after it brought down my internet access 4 times in first 5 days. Keeps crashing the system at the time I set kids’ access to shut down or start up. Problem solved temporarily with reboots of routers. Will try to debug and update when I have time.
  • Not very good unless you are trying to block parents

    By Twosonsinc
My daughter can still watch anything she wants and quickly found a work around. However, my wife and I are blocked from the internet and keep getting a “meet circle” page. I use my phone for my business and had no access till I disabled Circle. Now I am too scared to enable it again and affect my business. There is no support from Circle other than a frequently asked page. I am sure this thing works as it is advertised but it is to complicated for my family. I’m sure if I gave it to my daughter she would figure out how to set it up perfectly, but that is not it’s purpose.
  • Works great most the time

    By mum2aje
I was easily able to get devices set up. However, if I didn’t know how to find MAC/wifi address I could have struggled some. I was a little surprised how many devices we have connected! I’ve got to reboot every couple of days. I don’t know how much of this is the circle or my internet. We had issues with our internet prior, it’s gotten a bit more troublesome. I think the next time I’m going to connect directly to router with Ethernet to see if that helps. That said - I love that I can pause the access with an app. I like that I can see where my kids are going online and what apps they are using. That there is no longer a bedtime hunt to locate devices - after a certain time it’s off. We are also using the recommended chore apps. The kids love being able to earn extra screen time, and have been more helpful with less arguments!
  • Destroys families

Doesn’t make anything better, just makes for some upset kids. Everything was better before this stupid Circle came into our family
  • Misleading ad for netgear router owners

    By JM5357t
This is a paid service for netgear routers. They do not tell you this anywhere, until you install a firmware update, an app and begin setting up Circle.
  • Terrible App – Will lock up phone!!!

    By @skoolu
I have spent a month speaking with Wesley trying to undo all the problems this app has caused on my son’s phone. It started with phantom time usage – brought his phone to work, all apps closed, and mid-day it said he used up all his time. Finally disabled Circle, deleted Circle Go from his phone and deleted primary app for my device, and he still gets the Circle “time limit up” message when trying to use safari. Additionally, he has been unable to access the App Store for 26 days, despite suggestions made to rectify the problem. Idea is great, maybe someone will actually put it into practice one day because this app is no where near ready for consumer use. Hard to believe Disney would put their name on something like this.
  • I give up

I have tried and tried and it’s nothing but aggravation. IF I can get the usage it’s inaccurate.
  • Best parental controls

    By riehmc
I’m a network/security engineer by trade and have always hated how vendors come up short from real parental controls. This device allows you to group devices into accounts so you can control by users instead of micromanaging every device. I have to say one of the best investments I've made for $99
  • Excellent concept but...

    By Sweetlove391
I love the ability to do all that you can with this program. For the price, I believe that the consumer should have more tedious control. I have the switches set in place and I still don’t feel in control. I would like the ability to actually view which websites and content is being viewed. I hate that I have to completely remove a device from being manned to be able to use it. I want to be able to view what my child sees from the app and block or unblock it. It feels like all or nothing with this system. Then, I can’t tell which device is which sometimes. There needs to be a better way to tell which device I’m setting up. Then, there are certain parts of sites that I’m ok with but not others. I need feature and subject blocking abilities. There are so many possibilities with this program that are untouched. When improvements are made, I would be happy to change my view. Also, if I’m paying more than $100 for the Disney circle box, the mobile service should be included. I shouldn’t have to pay more on an already expensive item. I think it’s ridiculous that I do.
  • Good, would like one enhancement.

    By Concerned Shared Device Dad
I like the simple interface. One thing I wish Circle could add. For shared devices, I wish that you could add the app to the device and once the device is unlocked, the circle would open and ask for the person using it for an ID code to allow the internet to work. That would be awesome. The user would only know their code so the filters applied would apply to them. Please add this feature for shared devices. To all the people giving a bad review because of time limits with your kids. Be a parent and stand your ground. Good grief, developers are giving you a way to monitor, not be the parent of your kids, grow up. Thanks Circle Developers!
