Description

BLOCK magazine is truly a one-of-a-kind resource for quilters. Each issue is filled with beautiful color photos, inspiring stories, and ten gorgeous quilt patterns, with absolutely no ads. Ever since we released our first issue back in 2014, we’ve constantly been improving to bring you even more of what you love. Thank you for all your kind letters and emails telling us how BLOCK has inspired you to make new and amazing quilts. We think you’re incredible! You inspire us to make BLOCK even better. Get ready for a brand new digital experience with this BLOCK Magazine app! We had such a positive response to our Quilting Tutorials app that we knew we had to bring BLOCK to your screen next. That led us to create this BLOCK mobile app, just for you! Thank you for being a part of this mobile adventure with us. We will take it one step at a time together! – Jenny http://www.missouriquiltco.com

I love that all issues are listed so you have the option to buy issues not included in your subscription. Page turning is seamless. Navigation within each issue is easy and intuitive. Love it!

I can’t open the issue of block magazine I purchased on my iphone x which was what I wanted it for. I can pull it up on my home computer...just wanted the convenience of having all the information with me and not having to keep up with a printed copy. Contacted Missouri Star and got “we are working on it” a few months ago. I love Missouri Star! and Jenny Done!....This app has issues....

Easy to use app, beautiful pictures. I use this for classes instead of buying the paper magazine. More compact and right at my fingertips.

Almost as soon as you open the app you get booted out. I’ve shutdown and restarted my iPad and phone. Same issue. Deleted, shutdown and reinstalled. Same issue. Sad. Really wanted this app

What’s not to love, grab your iPad and shop. Take Jenny everywhere. She is a FUN great teacher, brought me back to my roots of my childhood of staying with my grandparents. I am a DIY person gifts from the heart, they aren’t perfect, but they know my love and heart was in it. Sure there is a few problems, name a APP that doesn’t have any. You can always send them a message or call and they will help you. 😀

I own all of the Block magazines. But having a search index would make this app so much more useful. Browsing is great, but most of the time I’m looking for a particular pattern. Searching by quilt name, both tutorial name and Block name, and searching by tool or technique would also be very useful.

I LOVE the print version of Block Magazine. But the app needs to have a cumulative index of every pattern that has been featured, indicating the issue it appeared in. Alphabetically by pattern name, as well as a listing by issue. So many times I’m at a quilt shop and want to buy fabric, know there’s a MSQC pattern I want to make, but don’t have the yardages with me. And searching Utube or an online browser just doesn’t cut it for me at times.
